Early 41 5" bbls were made by S&W from 7” barrels cut to length after they had been drilled for UB wgt. Actually 5" bbls ranged from 4 3/4" to 5 1/4"b. This barrel measures 5 inches. And has the plug installed.

Last of the model number on the left side. Serial 19408, rear pin indicating the gun is cocked. Overall condition is excellent. One original magazine with metal follower.

The finish on the early pistols is vastly superior to the later.

My 1961 M41 makes my 1980s version look like ugly Betty!

They both shoot lights out! And easy to break down and clean.

To anyone looking for an accurate 22, the old S&W 41(s) are the way to go. I own 6 of them that I used for Competitive Shooting. My 5" barreled gun will put ten shots into a thumbnail sized group at 50 yds.

I read an older thread that mentioned you having some 9.3x64 brass. Do you still have some? I am looking for 100 pcs, maybe 200.
