Great thread @D.M.V!
Thanks Jerome. This is a great site !
@HeinrichH what makes that hat soooooo special is the 470 NE side by side you have next to it! Ok and I'll give you the This is Africa logo too!
Hahaha! Thank you @CAustin
Already sent Jerome an email to replace it with a AH cap
With all of the pictures of the Stetson Gun Club Catera on here I looked it up and bought one. Very nice hats! I just got back from the local hat smith and had a little shape put into it and it will do until I get my Rand. The Catera is the exact dimensions of the model Rand that I'm getting.
Nice hat. Stetson still makes a great hat. There made at Hatco in Garland TX on old original equipment
Another nice more dressy gun club is the Dune model
In a hunter green would be nice 2
7 pages and not one leopard banded pith helmet?
I really enjoy these pictures, sorry I'm not better at posting them . I have an awful lot of hats that I hardly wear, but do occasionally sport a cowboy hat - fur or grass, fedoras, Irish caps, couple of baseball style caps, and the ole floppy bush (GI) hats.
Your right we need some pith helmet photos.
For warm weather it's a Filson Sheltercloth Bush Hat. If I could figure out how to post a pic I would, til then, you'll need to use your imagination.
I have a pith helmet downstairs along with the Baker helmet and a campaign hat, all received from my father-in-law when he passed away. Pics after I learn how.
How did I miss this thread.
These are a few that Ive hunted with, my Wheel hat is more orange than it looks here.
Theres nothing like dressing a little classy when you hunt in tweeds
We are taking pith helmets for our lion hunt
