I got a feed to a story about Scott van Zyl this morning.

I do not even have words for the people speaking ill of him.

Never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I assume he is much like the rest of us: in it for the chase, win or lose. Mostly we win, but Scott threw snake eyes his last trip out. I'm sad for his family, but not for Scott. Lucky bastard went out doing something he loves doing.

I wish I could be as lucky as Scott van Zyl, and die doing something I love doing.

Jerome, don't know if you're aware or not, but they killed a few narrow-snouted gators (you folks call them crocodiles) in the neighborhood and are pretty well convinced that's what happened to him after discovering human DNA in their gullets.

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

Appreciate your Limcroma/Franco comments. Will be seeing him in April....again. great person as well as his family (he has a new born son). I will always recommend him who makes a hunt special and exciting. Marc

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
