Scope issues

Apparently I'm an idiot or leupold has their ring finder thing set up to gind rings without a rear sight mounted. I have a mod 70 safari Express in 416 rem, ordered the medium rings to go with my new vx5hd 2-10 like the website suggested, and the scope can't be mounted using those rings with the rear sight attatched. Anyone got a link for a smaller rear sight replacement or?

I just pulled the rear sight off and threw the sight screw back in and said screw it for now. Back and forth BS with late shipping has me pissed lol

Scope i did. Rings i got from midway, they are the leupold brand and the model number needed
