Finally got a little time to finish up a few more of my 2018 Safari. I chose to do wall pedestals for the sable and roan to give me the flexibility in the future to hang on the wall but for now they are featured as pedestal mounts together. I also had to add a little attitude for the honey badger . I only have my black wildebeest left.

Waiting for the finished base I had HB standing on his own skull which was how I was going to do him on base before remembered I had that cool bird nest so I went with that for now.

You did that yourself buck wild? I am impressed. It really looks good. I am really jealous of that honey badger. I love those little guys.

Looks great! Love the attitude on the badger also!

Yes. I’ve been taxidermy as a hobby/side business since 1988. I’ve cut down the amount I do yearly since moving back to Houston 4 yrs ago which has allowed me to focus on getting some of my own stuff done. I still do 1-2 safari clients per year but try to keep it to the normal type stuff . This phase of my hunt just adds an extra layer of enjoyment (at least most of the time). I appreciate the positive comments and even critiques.

They all look really good! Typical badger bad attitude captured there.

Nice...congrats !

Just beautiful!!

Well done on all! Congrats!

Good work sir! Roan is high on my list!

I really like the way you did the complete pedestal. Of the 3 I like the Roan the best, and the HB attitude is priceless. Job well done.

Very nice! Oh I’m envious of the honey badger in particular!

ME TOO.

Yes my wife LOVES the honey badger also. I have an American badger also that she first fell in love with so now she is split.

Thanks for the comments. It just reinforces my love of doing wildlife art!!

Little better pics of base with more light.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
