Quick question: Only thing I am taking is a couple of battery chargers with 120-240 volts listed on the plug. No need for a voltage converter, correct?

If your appliance is rated for 120-240V, then you are correct in that you do not need a voltage converter. Almost all newer phones, cameras, iPads, laptops, batt chargers etc., will accept either 120 or 240V .... But, you may need adapter plugs from the USA to RSA 2 or 3 pin style similar to the example below....

I would charge my backup battery with the adapter plug then charge my iPhone or iPad with the battery. This protected my electronics from power surges. The battery also was handy for my iPad during the long flights.

The only things I've heard of having a problem is ladies bringing a 110 hair dryer or curling iron. Even those you can get travel versions in dual voltage. Most everything else we have is dual voltage. I did give a friend in Namibia a electric knife sharpener that he had two get a converter for.
Good question!

Just Google conversion plugs South Africa and you will see plenty of options. I have several of these!

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark
