Powder anyone?

What do you use RL 15 for?
ATM, nothing. Woodleigh has it listed for all weights of 9.3x62 bullets, though. So does Nosler for the 286, as does swift for 250, 286, and 300 gr AF.

I get excellent results with Varget and NAB 250, and Big Game for NP 286. 2000MR works great with Hornady 286. That's actually my most accurate load.

Thanks so much! Respect your thoughts and thanks for working up the load for me!!!
I spoke with IMR representative who was very nice and helpful. He said they just have never worked up a load for a 470 using 4955 powder but he has put in a request. I told him all of us have struggled to be able to buy any powder ones the last 6 months. Also I said it does not matter why but the facts are IMR 4955 powder seems to be the only powder we can buy

Rare Breed, please let me know what load IMR suggests, I'm curious to see how close it is to the results I got from QuickLoad. From what I understand the need or desire to use alternative powders is one of the reasons why QuickLoad was developed.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
