Ummm. I am not sure how well you follow Quebec. But your comment doesn't seem to grasp their situation.

The province while it has a Catholic heritage is overwhelmingly secular. In fact it has the most restrictive secular anti-religious laws in our country (which many of us are quite opposed to).

The person in question is the current president of a student federation which has been concerned about the costs of education getting high, over a number of years. It is not a new issue, a new organization, or "revolutionary changes" unless you think students being in favour of lower education costs is revolutionary. This has been in a live issue in Quebec for about 25 years.

Since you don't seem to understand the history of the issue here is the timeline:

And honestly I don't know where this chap was born. Do you? But there is nothing remotely Islamic or foreign about Quebec students protesting, it has a long domestic tradition. You may agree with them or not, but trying to paint them as some sort of foreign force is ignorant in the classic sense.

So I’m noticing a trend.

Government hands out free education. ( completely or partially subsidized by the government), more and more people on the teat, less people paying, finally the government can’t afford all this government.

Government raises rates, people that handed everything over to the government to run due to wanting free everything now revolt demanding the free gravy train keep rolling.

Socialism doesn’t work. Here endeth the lesson.

It’s really that simple.

RLD, Please do not tell me that you believe outside forces, governments, globalists activists do not fund and send anarchists to these “ mostly peaceful protests”.

Every government does it to their enemies. Individual citizens that hate Western ideals are heavily involved in Quebec, France and here in the U.S.

I really hope Trump says no - and firmly. But he won't: they're his 2 best buds.

I think France has a problem with debt, although their national debt is lower by GDP etc than the U.S. national debt. The U.S. has some better economic tools to deal with that problem.

Canada and Quebec, have a much smaller debt by any measure, than either the United States or France. I think we are in pretty good shape. No one in Quebec is revolting over education costs. They go on strike once in a while but that is what students do.

The American government debt is larger than Frances' proportionately, and much larger than Canada's proportionately.

So the lesson is that long term spending beyond your means doesn't work, no matter how you pronounce your last name or whether your country is socialist or capitalist or whatever the U.S. currently is.

And yes the ratchet tends to only go one way, and people do get spoiled by handouts.

I can't speak for France, but there is no evidence that there is violence in Quebec student protests from outsiders. Or insiders at the moment. The Yellow Vest movement looks pretty grass roots to me though.

Quebec, via the FLQ and some radical student groups has had some violence issues but they appear to be quite home grown, and nowadays very small.

I do think that foreign government sometimes interfere with other countries' domestic politics. I don't see that in Quebec student politics. I get the impression you are not very aware of the history of student politics in Quebec. Context can be very important.

I don't believe there is some great hidden cabal of globalists running nefarious plots to take over the world or depopulate us or whatever, as much as I enjoyed the X- Files.

I do think Russia and China run all sorts of operations designed to destabilize western democracies. I think they are mostly unsuccessful and have nothing to do with Quebec student politics.

Not at all. The "growth" is in services provided by emergency medical personnel, law enforcement, and funeral homes.
My post was sarcasm, but hey, growth is growth.

When burning I have seen fire move through tall dry grass very fast....worst probably 100 yards in 5 seconds or so.......I km in 30 to 60 seconds as they saying here..jeez....in both scenarios nobody stands a chance if in the path....as I have said ...with the burning I do....fire scares the shit out of me probably more than anything else..

Its time for France to order the army to the streets to restore law and order

Just illegal immigration.
You’re not wrong there. But they’re already there, might as well get them contributing so they can be profited from them. Poor people pump every dollar they have back into the economy
