Colorado has 58 peaks of 14,000 feet in altitude.
We have only 2 peaks in Arizona that are over 11,000 feet.
Even though we dont have the altitude, the terrain can be just as steep, and maybe even more treacherous because of the rocks that like to roll out from under your feet at times ...lol
Sadly, age and worn out knees keep me from hunting that country anymore, that I have put so many miles in over many years
I've hunted a few unique areas in Colorado, from the high country in the Weminuche wilderness, on top of the Grand Mesa and the breaks below it, to the Oak Brush and Aspen terrain north of Dove Creek.
Colorado is an amazing place.
