Humans are far to tribal for socialism to ever work, Dunbars number dictates that humans can maintain meaningful relationships with up to about a hundred and fifty people. The number we actually deeply care about is much smaller than that again.

The inner circle is roughly 5 people these are the people you care the most about.

The sympathy group about 10 more people who’s lose would deeply hurt you.

The wider circle about 35 people consisting of friends and extended family you see occasionally.

The outer circle about a hundred people you consider acquaintances would be comfortable doing business with or can great by name.

Any normal person is going to favour those above mentioned people above everyone else even without consciously trying and if it had to be at the expense of someone outside of your circles you’d find a way to justify it.
I would argue that if properly done, you could create a socialist society with the same check and balances we have today in our capitalist societies. Like I said, not advocating for anything, just being curious, what would Cuba be like in 2026 if it was never sanctioned?

A fifedom run by Castro’s descendants, if Castro can overthrow a government and install himself as leader with no international repercussions than we’ve regressed to a society where might makes right.

YES YES, HERE,HERE .properly done that is the key to communism , properly done . send AOC and Bernie down to get it off to a proper start. TO answer your stupid question cuba would be {in 2026{ just as it was in 1959,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80-hope you comprehend the logical sequence, in other words it would be similar to Venezuela and other communist utopia's .The extreme power ,rich, ruling the worker class . That is why cubans for decades risk there lives to float and swim to Florida, Castro just didnt do it properly.

A pack of Coyotes cleaning out the neighborhood yappers sounds like free noise control to me.....LOL.

Drop baits laced with strychnine

The CIA ran an op manned by Cuban expats. Commonly known as the Bay Of Pigs, but Potus Kennedy dropped the ball at the first day of invasion.

If the pair of you are going to discuss potentially illegal and unethical practices you should probably do it in pm , no need to reflect poorly on the community as a whole. The pair of you have just handed another bullet to what ever animal welfare group happens upon it.

Strichnine is legal in my state , you just need a permit, not advocating for any thing just repeating info of course not in LA , more of a joke than anythinfg else , but thanks for the reminder.

1) Money is fungible, so if getting grains, rice, medical supplies, means they (Hamas) dont have to spend money on their people, meaning they can spend money on guns, rockets, and tunnels, stuff like that.
That's my point though. It's a lot easier for Hamas to buy a rocket with money than it is with a sack of flour. I mean at some point if you have enough sacks of flour maybe. But the Israeli government knew what Hamas was going to be spending that suitcase money on, and they turned a blind eye to it. And then they blame Hamas? They were funding a terrorist organization and then said terrorists killed a bunch of people, not really that shocking.

It would be like if GW Bush was giving Bin Laden money to behave himself, and then he attacked us on 9/11 anyways. I doubt anyone on this forum would be so forgiving to Bush if he had done something like that. It's just hard to feel sorry for a country that elected a gov, then that gov gave money to terrorists, then got attacked by said terrorists, and then they re-elected the same asshole leaders that gave the terrorists money in the first place?

3) Why would Isreal follow US Supreme Court rulings? The US wouldn't follow anyone else court rulings.
I was referring to the Israeli Supreme Court rulings, that a portion of their own settlements are illegal. It's hard for me to believe in the whole "law and order" comments from folks regarding Israel when Netanyahu's government has ignored so many of their own high court's rulings for the past 20 years.

The fact Palestine can exist as a state after numerous attacks and wars against Israel is quite frankly amazing, not saying the Palestinians people dont have a right to exist because they do but they (whatever elected Palestinian government) have proven time and time again that they dont want peace and want to eliminate Israel.
I think you're still combining two different things. When the countries next to Israel went to war, that doesn't mean that it's now open season on every civilian in those lost land areas. Many of those areas you're describing lost by Jordan or other countries we're in open rebellion and actively fighting Israel. Even after WW2, the allies didn't go around, round up every German citizen, take their shit, and then crap on them for 60 years did they? Does Israel prevailing in the war mean they can now do whatever they want to the civilian populations that were in the territories that they now control?

This is a situation of 2 wrongs at anywhere near the scale, I dont know the legal aspects of the settlements but where in history of the world has someone had a neighboring state attack them and then the attacker got to keep their land? And honestly given after what happen on Oct 7th, I honestly dont care too much about how they feel about "stolen" land.
If someone threw your family out of your home at gunpoint, would you fight back? If they took your farmland away so that you could no longer feed yourselves would you take up arms against them?

I do find it a bit ironic that in one of your first posts you said you were concerned about the rights of your gay neighbors but then simp for Palenstine.
That's the part about everyone being treated equally, even the people you disagree with get treated the same as the ones you agree with. It doesn't matter who they are, everyone gets the same rights, nobody gets bonus rights, there are no second class citizens. I fight for everyones rights.

I think you're confused about the definition of a simp. A simp would be someone like JD Vance, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, or Mike Lindell gushing and fawning over trump, and kissing his ass every moment. Crying themselves to sleep every night because "Daddy Trump" didn't show them enough love and affection despite them debasing themselves for him on a daily basis.

You are literally making my point, giving them money is the same as giving them flour, it will result in them using it to buy rockets.

Which goes to the next point, the West has pretty much given money to every country, nation state, terrorist group in some form with the idea that if we buy you off the leaders they wont attack us, they can spew whatever non sense they want but dont attack us. When a politician says we will handle it with diplomacy this is what they mean. Why do you think so many people wanted USAID to be defunded?

You are greatly overstating the settlements, and I will admit I dont know much about it, but Palenstine could not feed its self before, wouldnt even have water if it wasnt for Israel. But I will tell you what I wouldnt do, I would go around and murder, rape and take children hostages of people who were of the same religion as someone who took my land.

Allies didnt round up civilians but they are still hunting out the families of Nazi party members, I dont think Israel is shitting on civilians in Palestine they let self govern for over a decade, they made a lot of efforts to move them out of the war zones, which going back to what you said earlier, Israel was given them flour and apparently suitcases of cash, doesnt sound like a shitting in situation.

I agree 100% with your statement on rights, but someone who mentioned being worried about rights yet are defending a government that throws people off a building because they are gay. You obviously arent fighting for those rights. You aren't fighting for the rights of the people taken hostage by Hamas. You can't talk about hypocrisy and say you are for all rights and simp for Hamas (and yes I know what it means).

As someone who consistently points out atrocities committed by all governments, you seem to be oddly in favor of more government control.

I don't know what ICJ nonsense you are referring to. But I was referring to two items:

1) The Israeli's own supreme court rulings on many of their own settlements as illegal. You clowns were the ones jawing on about how the Israeli's support the rule of law, and the Palestinians don't, but also somehow ignore their own supreme court? Sounds illegal to me.

2) The UN's Partition plan back in 1947. Again, you were the ones claiming that the Israeli's agreed to the plan and a two-state solution, and that the Palestinian's did not. The Israeli's agreeing to the partition, and then violating it by building homes on land that they agreed was someone else's seems illegal to me. Plus there's the whole throwing people out of their existing homes that were already built too.

I defended your right to be wrong. And we shouldn’t call for you being banned. But you continue to use derogatory names towards respected members. A friendly reminder.

Make your arguments with facts, not names. We all love a lively debate. But calling the people you just called clowns. Is a fast path to excommunication from AH.

Pellet guns are also illegal and unethical if you want to go down the path.of Sainthood....

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is very complicated. At some risk let me try to add some perspective.

"Illegal" is a broad term, but most jurists agree that the Israeli settlers are acting in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention sections of occupation. While the United States (and others) are not signatories to the ICC, they are signatories to the Fourth Geneva Convention.

If anyone wants to really discuss the legality of the Israeli settlements I recommend you read those sections before you start. That statute is the foundation of the issue.

The American position has been nuanced. At various times they have stated those actions are illegal, while at other times they have refrained from using that term and referred to them as "illegitimate, provocative and obstacles to peace." The United States' reasoning (as I understand it) is that they prefer a diplomatic solution to the conflict and believe that a simple position of "illegal" or "legal" reduces room for diplomatic efforts. For what it's worth I think Reagan etc were quite right about that.

Trump has leaned away from the traditional "illegitimate" approach more toward's Israel's position but has not abandoned it entirely. He too is discovering that on various issues Israel can be a difficult ally to contain.

One of the problems that Israel faces in reaching any kind of agreement with the Palestinian people is that they don't have a singular legitimate body you can negotiate with to reach an agreement. At least with Israel you know who you have to negotiate with.

The second problem that Israel (and the world) faces in achieving a solution to the Palestinian issue is that no effective Palestinian group has recognized Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

Until there is a singular representative group of the Palestinian people that recognizes the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state, it seems unlikely any significant diplomatic progress can be made.

Ranchers and wildlife agencies use the M-44 .
A spring loaded trap that sprays sodium cyanide into the animals face. Gotta have a permit to get them.

Actually, they are not though legality would depend on jurisdictions I don't think there is a minimum caliber for varmints.

In regard to it being ethical or not, pellet guns have evolved since Red Ryders of your youth.

MTG said that the casualties of U.S troops fuels Hegseths bloodlust for a senseless war.
Losing troops is always a sad and unfortunate outcome of any war, however, I don't consider the war on terror as senseless.

Maybe not in jurisdictions that allow it in legal hunting areas, but not in urban/suburban areas for predators where the neighbors would call authorities on someone

Besides....the use of a pellet gun or poison, the end game is the same. Is it not?

No. Poison is indiscriminate and ends up killing owls, crows, buzzards etc. as well when they eat poisonous flesh.

I agree with the urban areas, as mentioned before my HOA prohibits it.
