Cuba's government can call themselves the happy-go-lucky-teddy-bear-love-association, just because they say so, doesn't make it true. You can call yourself the Queen of England, but it doesn't make it real. So, in which Socialist country have you lived? I'll make it even easier, which Socialist country have you visited? Ask the Cuban, and the government will tell you that they have a Socialist Government. Socialism/Communism doesn't work. Open your eyes. A dictionary description is one thing, what happens in real life is another.
Still Communist countries.
A pack of Coyotes cleaning out the neighborhood yappers sounds like free noise control to me.....LOL.I thought about it, but it is against HOA rules to discharge them.
Maybe if someone marketed a pellet double rifle you would get @Tanks attention.![]()

I don't know what ICJ nonsense you are referring to. But I was referring to two items:You mean the settlements in the West Bank that Jordan lost to Israel, when Jordan attack Israel and lost that land to Israel? Just because the International Court of Justice say they are illegal does not make them "criminal" as you say. By the way the USA, China, Russia, India, Israel and others are not bound to the ICJ. As you say "nice try."
More childish insults from the intellectually lazy crowd that cannot form a coherent argument and actually debate someone on the issues. I do however understand how a dictionary works, you should all try it sometime. Not to mention being an expert in both foreign policy and history (you pick the region).

Israel hasn't supported a two-state solution in decades. Not since their own PM was assassinated by a far-right Israeli...not a Palestinian...Who belonged to the same terrorist organization that their current National Defense Minister (and criminal/Cho-mo) supports. Right after he threatened the PM on TV.
But that's not the biggest issue here. It's Israeli settlements. The fact that any of you supports such criminal behavior is a bit shocking (even on this forum). That's not something you'd ever tolerate in the US, but it's okay for the Israeli's to do it? You're all the epitome of hypocrisy. If someone tried to steal your homes/land you'd shoot at them to. But the Palestinians do it and they are branded terrorists.
I'm happy to see that you've discovered Wikipedia. Now please explain how mentioning illegal Israeli settlements, and how many of you seemingly support them, is a Red Herring regarding the current situation between those two peoples?![]()

Well, ancient Greeks, specifically Spart, gave equal plots of land to all to start. Within a few generations they all ended up in the hands of the few leading to massive inequality.Has a socialist/communist country ever existed with good intentions? I think we all can agree that authoritarian governments are a bad idea whatever beliefs they hold, so it would be an interesting case study if one could function without the addition of human greed, and also without being sanctioned out the ass by the developed world.
On a small scale, Hutterites are a pretty successful example of small scale socialism (as much as I despise them, I have to admit they are efficient and effective).

No they don't. You're conflating giving food and medical aid to people, with giving suitcases full of cash from a Qatari diplomat directly to Hamas. Sacks of rice, beans, and grains are different than cold hard cash. I have included some reference's below.

For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces
The premier's policy of treating the terror group as a partner, at the expense of Abbas and Palestinian statehood, has resulted in wounds that will take Israel years to heal fromwww.timesofisrael.com

Israel drove suitcases stuffed with cash into Gaza to keep Hamas in power: NYT
Israeli security officials would escort Qatari representatives into Gaza to deliver the cash to Hamas, the New York Times reported.www.businessinsider.com
No, not really. But in order to reach some folks on this forum you have to speak their language. And for those on the far-right these past 10+ years, that language is one of bat-shit crazy conspiracy theories. Sometimes you have to meet people where they are.
Yes. I also believe that two wrongs don't make a right. And that the Israeli's should also be held responsible for their criminal actions as well. I also know that if someone tried to take your home, and your land. Throwing your family out on the street that you'd fight like hell to stop that as well. What do you think Israeli settlements are? Even their own supreme court has sided against the Jewish settlers on many occasions. They just ignore the courts. Wasn't one of the other posters on here just talking about Israel and the rule of law? So much for that.
I'm obviously against that. One wrong should not beget another.
Didn't Trump meet with the Leader of North Korea? I seem to remember that his supporters were very happy about that. How many people has he killed? What about Putin? Trump seems to love that guy? How many of his own people has he killed?
Sure, if the meaning is to take Jewish land and drive them out, then yes. I can condemn that. Can you condemn Israeli's sealing peoples homes and land for themselves?

True, just ask Elizabeth Warren......most people I meet that have had a dna test (or haven’t) will claim being Indian and disregard their whiteness even if they have only 1percent, ....
Didn’t the land in basically every society excluding the last four or five centuries reside in the hands of a few leading to massive inequality?Well, ancient Greeks, specifically Spart, gave equal plots of land to all to start. Clearly seeing equal distribution did not work even in ancient Greece the solution is for the government to own all and allocate use of the resources instead.![]()
