You appear to be blaming NASA when you should be blaming the politicians, specifically...congress. The reason why we had an inefficient and expensive space shuttle program? Congressional Mandates. The reason why the SLS is so expensive now? Congressional Mandates. The reason why NASA employees and contractors are scattered all over the country? Congressional Mandates. The main reason for the Challenger disaster? Congressional Mandates.

So Congress is to blame, and your solution is to increase taxes on the wealthy and businesses, so Congress can allocate the funds?

I traveled from my home on the Alabama coast to the Mississippi coast yesterday and saw gas ranging from $3.49 a gallon down to $3.23 a gallon. It was around $3.68 last week. So thats a start hopefully it will continue to go down.

That’s great on the gas prices. Hopefully the prices keep going down.

Let’s hope not, even thought I feel the same way. But, I think Iran will violate the treaty one way or another.

Same here, we have 4 freezers full of meat and some produce. I keep my tractor full of diesel and enough gas available for our portable generators running do up to 10 days. The pantry stays stocked with canned goods, rice and beans. Our only worry is water as our well is difficult to run off of generator power so we do stock up on water at the beginning of hurricane season or if a storm is imminent. Our stove and oven is natural gas so no worries there.
Having lived in Minnesota and South Dakota and now on the Gulf coast I prefer winter weather emergencies over tropical weather emergencies.

We do need to invest in a generator that can run the whole house but that’s a whole other can of worms.

I’ve got a whole house generator and a 1000 gallon propane tank for it. Freezers are full of moose, elk and salmon. We are on well water and the generator runs it all. Ammo stockpiled. Should be in good shape for a while. Hope to never find out.

Oregonians have been working on a petition to ban ALL hunting and fishing in their State.

To get on the ballot, they needed 117,000 signatures. It’s already passed 125,000 signatures and growing.

Think about that for a second, 125,000 lunatics so far and climbing in a State with a total population of only ~4m people.

Of course it will fail on final vote, but the fact it so easily got on the ballot is shocking.
