I fully understand how Biden got elected. His voters got their mail in votes done when the moon was full. I just wish George Carlin was around for his commentary on these nut jobs.

Saw a report on Fox about these protestor's mental health. I gathered the rally attendees went to have some sort of validation and group therapy. Problem was, when they returned to their homes, they were still screwed up in the heads. Probably better off if they stayed home and just doubled up on the Zoloft.

Besides, the worst part about the SAVE act isn't the ID req. its the purging of voter roles, and the federalizing of elections that are the states responsibilities.
I thought NVRA passed in ‘93 and HAVA passed in ‘02 both already make it a federal law for all states to purger voter rolls? So why would you be upset about them making a redundancy law that already exists.

Spain closes airspace to US planes taking part in war on Iran

Spain has barred US military aircraft involved in strikes on Iran from using its airspace, expanding earlier restrictions on access to jointly operated bases, Defence Minister Margarita Robles says.

“We don’t authorise either the use of military bases or the use of airspace for actions related to the war in Iran,” she told reporters in Madrid.

The move forces US military aircraft to reroute although emergency flights remain exempt.

Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo said the decision reflects Spain’s refusal to back a war launched unilaterally and “against international law”.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has repeatedly criticised the US-Israeli war while Trump has threatened trade retaliation.

Debating @Big_Easy and a cadre of others here about why only US citizens should vote in US elections is like debating with a rock about the rock’s IQ. Or alternately, why states or jurisdictions within the US should have authority to determine that non-US citizens should be allowed to vote in US elections even though the states/jurisdictions themselves have laws requiring US citizenship for voting. Again, debating with very low IQ individuals makes no sense and always proves a waste of effort. But such is the nature of dealing with or even communicating with any in the Dem left or their surrogates in the MSM.

I guess, shortly my Spain vacation and hunting trip will soon be postponed.

Then we have the MAGA idiots on the other side that want to give the federal government control over all rights and make them permissions. The less the federal government controls the better this country is in my opinion

May be the first thing you’ve said that I agree with.

So I am assuming you are a libertarian or an anarchist.. not judging since I personally believe in Thomas Payne’s assessment that “government is a necessary evil”. Because if you are a liberal in the political sense it would be extremely hypocritical to call out republicans for federal government overreach (which again both parties have a history of doing) since the democrat party has a long storied history of taking rights and making them permissions.

What is very interesting to me is that a left leaning publication published it.. and that it was written by a Canadian-American PhD/professor that teaches at one of the most liberal universities in the US (regularly ranked in the top 5), Portland State University (although it should be noted that the professor is a centrist conservative that regularly speaks out about the lunacy of the far left.. I suppose he gets exposed to it quite a bit in Portland...)...

WSJ left leaning???? Say it ain't so.

Even funnier is if you google, most of the media outlets that "rate" other media outlets in terms of whether they lean left or right, will tell you that the WSJ is pretty "centrist"...

But if you ask a conservative.. they'll tell you WSJ is left..

I dont find them outragesously left.. much of their reporting on financial issues seem to be somewhere between neutral to left..

but to their credit theyre pretty good in the editorials and opinion pieces about letting both sides get heard.. sometimes left, sometimes right, etc..

What I've noticed is the "straight news" pages tend to lean left, while the Editorial Board leans more right. I guess that's where they get "centrist". I guess that's what the reports you linked say, but I've definitely noticed it in my daily reading.

Agreed on the Portland part. That surprised me a bit too. His "Case for Colonialism" is definitely interesting.

I am most certainly a conservative, subscribe to the WSJ, and I would definitely not consider it progressive or liberal. Centrist leaning right would be the most accurate description.

An exception? I watch their Editorial Report on Fox on weekends. To me it has a very middle right vibe and addresses issues in a fairly unbiased fashion.

That’s what I was saying.. their editorial and opinion pieces seem to be pretty balanced.. they’ll run some right leaning stuff… then run some left leaning stuff.. and neither seem to go too far to the fringe… they seem to try to stay in the middle and just lean a little one way or the other depending on the audience..

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
