Are you really that simple? For someone born in America, the only way to prove your US citizenship is through a birth certificate. How do you not understand that? If not, what other means do you have to prove you're a citizen, I would generally like to know. Please tell me.

Yes, actually it is impossible for some people. My uncle for one. He was born in 1955 in a rural hospital. He doesn't have a valid ID for more than 10 years now, bc the hospital closed years ago, and they cant find his birth certificate at the state records office. He has an uncertified copy, but that doesnt count.
Id ask if you were genuinely that dumb.. but it would be rhetorical.. you clearly are..

Put your uncle in touch with me... I bet I can have him a birth certificate or a REAL ID in no time.. All it takes is putting in the effort..

There are actually NUMEROUS ways to prove US citizenship legally, other than a birth certificate..

Baptismal/Religious records: Any official religious record produced within 3 months of birth is accepted by the US Govt.

Old Census Records: Any state or federal census record showing the persons name, date of birth, and stating US Citizen

Hospital/Doctors Records: Records of birth or post natal care qualify

DS10 - Affidavit of Birth: A notarized statement from anyone that was present at the time of birth

Delayed Birth Certificate: Each state has a process for creating birth certificates for people that were born without them being issues

Social Security Administration: SSA records can be used to confirm US birth

FOIA: Freedom of Information Act Request of the Federal Government to provide any records it has related to birth.

The US Government has an entire website dedicated to helping people that are US Citizens with no birth certificate obtain proof of citizenship

Filing taxes doesn't require an ID, what are you talking about.

Lets see.. you either have to have an SS number or a TIN.. which the IRS confirms upon reciept is valid for your taxes to be processed.. and to obtain an SSN you need what??

you guessed it! Proof of US Citizenship!

And.. at the state level MANY states actually require a state issued drivers license or state issued ID to file your taxes with the state..

Again unsubstantiated blither..

Show me where the Republican Party has demanded a birth certificate to vote…

A birth certificate doesn’t establish citizenship.. there are countless US citizens that don’t have birth certificates from the US..

I don’t recall anyone bitching about ID for a firearms purchase either… it’s certainly not a Republican Party platform issue..

Some people (a very marginal few) take exception to back ground checks… but if you bothered to actually look for facts you’d know that’s the exception rather than a rule..

In fact many republicans are very much on board for background checks these days due to mental health issues surrounding gun violence…

It’s hardly a unifying issue within the party
“I don’t recall anyone bitching about ID for a firearms purchase either… it’s certainly not a Republican Party platform issue..”

That’s literally all republicans ever do. Again, why would you lie about something so easily disprovable? EVER SINGLE NATIONAL REPUBLICAN POLITICIAN is against universal background checks for starters. 100%. Also, decades of the NRA and other shooting orgs rallying against background checks in general.

It was also in the national Republican party platform during the Obama admin that gun background checks were considered unconstitutional. And the republicans on the supreme court just ruled in the Bruen case. They implemented a “historical tradition of firearm regulation” test. Which no modern background check would hold up against.

Typical MAGA, insulting people rather than defending your position and actually citing a source.
so lets ask you a third time since you find it convienient enough to ignore the first 2 requests..

you dispute the numbers...

but you provide no numbers that say otherwise.. offer no evidence of no other truth.. offer no evidence of no other fact.. .

so.. wheres your source?

Ive already told you where I got my numbers... you just didnt like the answer...

And.. if youre assuming MAGA you are far more of a blithering idiot than suspected... or unable to read...

How about you do a little research... Im pretty far from a hard right winger.. and on a personal level dont care much for Trump at all.. and have made that clear on more than a few occasions...

Im much more of a libertarian than anything else in terms of platform beliefs... but.. the libertarian party cant seem to put anyone on the ballot that isnt focused on weed or isnt a loon... so.. they rarely get a vote from me..

so quit blithering and crying.. and prove it..

Show me where no ID for a firearms purchase is a Republican Party platform item..

Youre very poorly attempting to mince two separate items..

THe background check is different than an ID..

It was not said that R's havent raised hell about the background check... in fact, if you bother to actually read the post.. it was said some absolutely do still... and that some now are in favor to some degree because of mental health issues..

you probably need to re-read Bruen... that case is largely about concealed carry licenses... not about the background check associated with the purchase of a firearm...

Furthermore, Bruen was ruled on in 2022.. just under 4 years ago.. thats hardly a "just ruled" timeline...

Or provide your IRS form 4029 (SS exempt)

The Amish have neither birth certificates, SS cards, DL, and all vote according to state laws in all states they have settled.

If you are going to yell at the sky with your babbling leftwing spew, at least turn the caps lock key on for emphasis........

yeah.. thats me.. the guy that paid them about $10K to build me a tiny cabin in Colorado a few years back..

I hate the Amish lol...

I sincerely doubt that…

Amish have and will apply for a birth certificate when required. Using their community birth records, marriage records and baptism records there are cases where petitions for a BC are issued using community records.

Can't read it all...but how's this tie in with the marine expeditionary forces....

Pentagon to Order 3,000 82nd Airborne Soldiers to Middle East https://share.google/YO3YUi79EanOTxQ6f

I didnt read the article... but.. if a single brigade of the 82nd is being mobilized, we're still talking large scale raiding forces.. not invasion forces.. consider them a "3rd MEU" (although they are actually very different in the way they are built, operate, etc.. but... theyre designed to hit fast and hard... but not actually "hold" anything... and if we were planning on an invasion, the entire division would be gearing up, not just one brigade..

The little community they have around Monte Vista Colorado are pretty incredible honestly.. they largely keep to themselves (not uncommon).. but have made pretty good lives for themselves in the area making custom furniture, building cabins and barns, etc for the communities in the surrounding area..

Whats interesting about the Amish is that most of them do in fact have birth certificates.. and ALL of them can obtain birth certificates by the methods in the prior post...

What Big Easy seems too ignorant to understand is they dont prioritize birth certificates as a rule.. because they dont participate in society to the degree that other people do... so they arent buying guns, booze, flying on planes, driving cars, buying cigarettes, etc...

and... they also as a rule dont prioritize voting..

Do some vote? Yes... do most? no..

Those that want and/or need a birth certificate that havent gotten one prior.. theres even a website out there that helps them get one (and before anyone says they hate tech and cant access the internet.. thats a fallacy.. they in general do not embrace tech.. and access to tech is generally very restricted and often only allowed for business purposes.. but, yes.. the Amish can access the internet (in a very controlled fashion)

My reply was with regards to someone born decades ago, not today:

Baptismal/Religious records….UNCLE HAS NONE OF THESE, many ppl don’t.

Old Census Records….He is currently pursuing this pathway.

Hospital/Doctors Records….Does not have these either as the hospital has been gone for decades.

DS10 - Affidavit of Birth: A notarized statement from anyone that was present at the time of birth….All these people are dead.

Delayed Birth Certificate: Each state has a process for creating birth certificates for people that were born without them being issued…Yes but a new certificate is not guaranteed.

Social Security Administration: SSA records can be used to confirm US birth… He tried this method as he is currently receiving SS, but it takes you in an endless red tape loop.

My point is still valid. Any of the above methods get you to a new birth certificate, which is then the basis for you citizenship, passport, real id, etc. The process is not easy, it is time consuming, and costs money. Its not about woman or minorities, its about poor people. Some people are poor enough where a few hundred dollars is an insurmountable amount of money.

Having a Social Security# is not proof of citizenship, anyone coming here legally on a H2A work Visa has to get one. At the end of their yearly contract they are given a tax form to fill out, none of my workers ever do, it’s totally voluntary evidently as none of them have been audited in the last 25 years.

Heaven and hell man...you see enemies at your doorstep all the time..

Imagine your state of mind if you shared a border with Russia..like we do..
No worries, if I shared a border with Russia; I’d just underfund my military, watch my neighbors do the same and then rely on another country on the opposite side of the earth to spend money protecting me and my neighbors for decades.

Sound reasonable?

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
