Politics

I was mostly talking of the democrats in leadership roles, congress, governors and so forth. I can’t recall many times when any democrats voted against his policies, I seriously doubt all of them believe in open borders, boys in girls locker rooms and sports but they went along and defended them daily.
There are still a lot of fine everyday people that are democrats but they just aren’t as vocal.
That is fair. I am still aghast at the many in Democratic leadership and media who knew of Biden’s mental decline and continued to gaslight the party, requiring a true heavy hitter like Nancy Pelosi to finally step in and topple him.

I believe she does that BS purposefully.. ghetto queen is far from who Jasmine Crockett really is.. its all just show for her inner city constituents in Dallas..

she attended a fairly well regarded private, all girls, catholic high school in St. Louis that is an accredited college prep school that has been rated the #1 private school in the state of Missouri in the past.. Im betting the nuns there dont tolerate a whole lot of low rent theatrics..

she earned her bachelors at Rhodes College in Memphis.. Rhodes is an outstanding school (that most people have never heard of).. the average GPA of students admitted to Rhodes is 3.92 (not allowing for escalation for AP classes, etc) and even though almost exclusively only truly bright, academic minded students apply, they still have less than a 50% acceptance rate (consider that the avg acceptance rate across all universities in the US is about 73%)..

she then earned a JD at the University of Houston, passed the bar, and practiced law prior to running for office..

I can almost guarantee that her inner city ghetto queen routine was not on display at her exclusive all girls high school, nor were they on display at Rhodes, or in law school, or when she worked for Bowie County (Texarkana) as a public defender.. that bullshit didnt start until she started running for Eric Johnsons vacated TX House seat thats right in the center of the inner city, full of section 8 housing, projects, etc.. she realized she needed look, act, and speak more like her constituents if she wanted to get elected... so the show began..

Sadly that tells you exactly what she thinks of her constituents.. she clearly has no respect for them at all... and even more sadly, they apparently dont see it..

She is not from the inner city.. she doesnt know what its like to be poor.. she doesnt know what its like to be "oppressed".. or any of the other bullshit she spouts.. she absolutely has been trained and educated to have and use proper grammar and proper manners.. and has used proper grammar and manners most of her adult life to be able to accomplish the things she has accomplished..

its all a game..

in my view that genuinely makes her a stinking pile of shit of a human..

not because she is a democrat or a liberal..

but because she is a liar and a con artist, knowingly and willingly manipulating people for her own self interest and personal gain...
Interesting....I thought it looked overdone but I had no idea of her true history.....wish things like this were brought more to the public light.

Therein lies the problem. I feel that the Democrats could have gained considerably more respect by admitting to Biden's problem, Instead of dusting him off, and putting him behind the microphone, only to stumble away without taking questions. It was not a very dignified position to be in.
It became very apparent that he was nothing but a figurehead, with the country being run by people behind the scenes.
Maybe I'm too old school and honest for politics, however, I personally don't feel there is any shame in admitting to being wrong. That is a lesson that Trump could be benefit from.
I would hold much more respect for any political leader that can openly admit to a mistake. I'm sure many others feel the same

I don’t think she’s stupid at all. You can’t get where she’s gotten in life without a fairly good measure of intellect..

I do think she’s a fool… whether using the clown definition, or the definition that states a fool is someone that is arrogant, close minded, reckless, careless, and uses poor choices for words… I think she’s meets either choice readily…

What I think more than anything is she’s a self absorbed, manipulative, race baiting, turd of a human, that’s willing to sell her soul in the interest of personal gain and power…

I’m generally speaking a pretty passive guy when it comes to other people… I genuinely don’t care if someone is black, white, yellow, brown, or green… could care less if they are old or young, fat or skinny, gay or straight, Christian, Muslim, gnostic, atheist, or Shinto.. male, female…liberal or conservative… it doesn’t matter… just be a decent human being and you and I will get along just fine…

Crockett isn’t someone I believe I’d get along with…
I agree with you, I don't like her either. I guess what I was trying to say is I don't want the Republicans to underestimate her or the Democrat machine and start popping their champagne corks too early as they did before the Great Red Wave that didn't happen. Talarico has considerable support where I live. He used to be my state rep. and I don't care for him either. The senate race will be no slam dunk for the Republicans.

This. Exactly this.

@Corey0372 I knew what my favorite Army general meant in the term Naval persons. We Marines being soldiers of the sea, Naval infantry, are when underway (at sea) under Navy command until the high water mark on the beach.

I worked as a contractor supporting US Army programs for a couple decades post retirement. Soldiers in uniform or retired are very different than Marines. I've found on several occasions I had more in common with retired sailors than with soldiers. Nothing wrong with that. From the perception of a retired Army flag officer, I can perceive that those of us from the Naval services are different. Thank goodness! :)

PS: For all reading this, one becomes a soldier, sailor, or airman when they enter boot camp or OCS. Not the same for Marines which is a title that must be earned. Being a title, the word Marine referring to a US Marine is always capitalized. That fact could irritate other servicemen.

I wish I had seen this yesterday for my response to the Naval persons reference. This short video features the Commandant and the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps.

"Every Marine a rifleman
We don't fail our mission
We don't know how to"

In your opinion, was Nancy Pelosi aware of his mental decline before those infamous final few months?

About time- no kidding! Now if we could only replace her spot in prison with Jena Griswold, one of the most corrupt, POS criminals in the state’s government!
IIRC most of her convictions are state level and this will not impact the time she actually serves.

I am not sure. It is certainly possible, but she was also not in a leadership position and so it is unlikely that she was getting regular, unfettered access to Biden.

Correct. But do you know anything about the case? Does it make you happy?

I know a bit about the case. Not a ton. IIRC she allowed some unauthorized individuals access to confidential information. I also think she had a jury trial but I didn't follow it that closely.

I don't know enough about the nature of the information she provided people to really figure out if the outcome is just.

Nine years sounds harsh to me for this type of crime, but, to be honest American sentences tend to be longer than Canadian ones (which is sometimes good and sometimes bad).

RLD.. You know nothing about this case, the circumstances surrounding it nor the voting irregularities that plague bright blue Colorado yet willingly drink the Kool Aid and defend the Dem infected spin regurgitated by the MSM.

So the jury got it wrong and her defense lawyer was incompetent?

Do you have some special information you want to share so we can all understand it better?

They toppled him only when it was publicly undeniable what state Biden was in, I whole heartedly believe those same heavy hitters knew exactly what state he was in prior to the election.

@Saul

I would like to know you're opinion on the Diane Feinstein situation and how it unfolded.

Diane was allowed to ramble on at funerals and other events for years, she had a live in care taker with power of attorney; that care taker was Nancy Pelosi's daughter inlaw and Diane was just a puppet who routinely had to be told how to vote.

Then of course there was the multiple Mitch McConnell episodes of him "vapor locking" rusting in place like the tinman in the Wizard of OZ.

Personally I see this as elder abuse and high jacking political power by taking advantage of elderly politicians who have been abusing their power for decades.

I don't know of any other time in USA history when we have had so many octogenarians refusing to relinquish power.

It is certainly possible and I do not discount it.

With regard to Feinstein, I found her treatment equal measures depressing and embarrassing.

I worry that we are starting to see the same thing happen with Trump.

I agree, however depressing and embarrassing.

On the other hand I believe Trump is sharper today than Feinstein and Biden ever were.
