I've seen a few posts from folks looking for Trophy Bonded Bear Claw component bullets here. I ran across a site listing a box of vintage .375 TBBC component bullets and thought I'd pass the info along. I have no connections with this business and I've never done business with them, just putting this out there for anyone interested.

Also some .375 Trophy Sledgehammer Solids component bullets.

zorg,
I remember when bear claws came on the market.
when you describe these bullets as vintage it makes me realize how old I must be.
oh well, with age comes wiseness.
bruce.

Bruce,

If you follow the web links you'll see the company address on the box labels show Houston, TX indicating these Trophy brand projectiles were manufactured by Jack Carter, nothing shows involvement with Speer / Federal / ATK in what is seen on the pics at the web links. If that ain't vintage with respect to these projectiles, I don't know what is!:E Shrug:

yes I remember carter's advertisements, and ross seyfrieds article on them.

When I first went to tanzania in 1989, for the .416 rigby BELL ammo loaded with bearclaws and sledgehammers was the only loaded ammunition you could get I think... it's what Paul used and supplied back in those days at Rigbys... great bullets ....worked very well
