Hello all, we have 1 meat bison left for 21/22. It is the same package as always, 2 days and 3 nights. Includes Guides, meals, lodging, meat bison bull, skinning, quartering, and feral pig hunting after bison is down. These bison will weigh approximately 1200lbs this year so it will be a lot of meat.
Day Fee: 500 x 2= $1000
Trophy Fee: $2750
Extra hunting days: $500/per
Observer Fee: $150/per day/person
Not included: Texas Hunting License, Tips, Pre/Post Trip expenses, usual stuff
NOTE: These are not tame Bison and this will be a very physical hunt involving a lot of hiking. This cannot be done from a vehicle but it is possible to set a popup blind over a waterhole or a feeder if one is mobility impaired, id would be recommended to add an extra day in this instance. The normal hunt method is spot and stalk. Ranges are generally very close and in your face. Our herd bull Geronimo can be extremely aggressive at times. This is a very exciting hunt and a great warm up for a African Buffalo hunt as the method is very similar. I will allow people to hunt with a 45/70 (for modern 45/70's we have had excellent results shooting HSM Bear Load using a 430 grain gas checked round nose flat point)bullet or up. I will also allow black powder of 54 cal ( shooting a heavy bullet) or up. Archery is on a case by case basis. We have rifle rental available from a 45/70 Sharps, 375 H&H, and a 416 Ruger.$50/day plus ammo at $12 per round.
