Where does a hunter go for inspiration while in New York?

My Brother works in Manhattan, meeting up
With him for dinner… I brought 6 nice Napa wines. Staying 5 days.

I walked from Port Authority to Times Square through Central Park to American Museum of Natural History…

Heading to Intrepid next…

9,000 Steps so far…

More to come.

From the title, that was exactly what my destination would be - Museum of Natural History

Did you ever get y’all a fishing trip up?

Looks like you found a good way to spend a day in NYC.

I need to go back to NYC soon. I’ve always enjoyed that city as a tourist. Someone smarter than me, are most of those mounts Teddy and Kermit’s still?

A shame there is no longer a holland and holland showroom in manhattan.

add to your list -

The explorers club, it is private - but if you knock, sometimes the door opens and they will give you a tour.

The history of that organization is incredible and some amazing artifacts not seen by many will be there for you to see.

Just off Madison Ave on the upper east side. I hope you get to see it.

I go to NYC once a year and always go to the Museum of Natural History when I am in town.

The Beretta Gallery is not such a bad place to visit either.

So NYC is not a total loss after all....

The horns on those rhinos are unreal!

Too bad the old Abercrombie & Fitch store is no longer there. It closed in 1977.
(I never had the chance to go)

The Museum of Natural History was good.

Beretta has a store there:

If the hunter is also a fisherman, you can book a striper trip:

(No endorsement expressed, nor implied)

I have a friend ("Hank the Yank"), who is a fishing guide, who is from the NYC area. (He guides in GA now)

The water in the Hudson River is clean enough for stripers now.

(maybe the Clean Water Act of 1972, maybe because many American companies, ultimately, just want to "do the right thing," - probably some of both)

So NYC is not a total loss after all....

It's a total loss, but if you have to be there, you have the ability to make it interesting.

I cannot think of any reason that I could be forced to go into New York City again, but if it should happen, I know where I'm going!

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
