on a lighter note...

You can't roller skate in a Buffalo Herd.

It was a song by Rodger Miller.

I’m not older than dust but I remember that song. That made my day!

I've got that on a cassette of The Hits of Roger Miller. Remember cassettes?

I’m not old as dirt but getting there but I do have Can’t roller skate in a buffalo herd on 45 somewhere.

My first vehicle (pickup) had an 8 track with the beach boys endless summer, 3 on the tree and an underdash air conditioner.
My next vehicle had FM radio and a cassette player. What an upgrade!
Thanks for that song, I haven't been able to get it out of my head all evening...

Cassette or 8 track?

Wish my 8 tracks hadn't all fallen apart. There was some great music in there.

The 8 track player eating the tape, and spending the time it took to dig it out was always frustrating. Why did the player always eat a tape during a make out session.:(

Heck, I still have a couple of 4 track players and the dual 8 track/4 track players out in the garage.

Perhaps I could sell them to finance another trip to Africa.:E Dancing:

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
