For an annual ROI of ~22.4%. Nice.

In 2021 I knew a grown man (with a family and business) who actually believed that the AA# series of these $100T Zim notes would eventually be cashed at tremendous profit. I have two, and he tried to buy one off me for the going price of $50. "Sure, if we split in half any future profit." (He didn't like that deal.)

Same guy spent thousand$ on Iraqi Dinars (1200:$1) because 1st term Trump was expected to redeem them at par for 3:$1. (He was actually intending to pay off some US$3m in business VC with the proceeds!) I tried to explain to him that there wasn't enough dollar money supply to buy off the dinars at that rate, even assuming such an event could happen. That never sank in. When he confided to his lender the Iraqi dinar scheme for repayment, the lender realized his borrower's delusional state and at once secured a credit judgment and lien against his business assets.
