on a lighter note...

I tend to.believe that. It fits with something a weapons instructor used to tell us, " Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast."

He said it came from the military, but I don't remember who said it first.

The fist place I heard it was at John Shaws school - Mid South… would have been around 1993 maybe?

Shaw used to train A LOT of police swat and military SOF back in those days…

He’s long since retired.. but his son Houston Shaw still trains.. and Mid South is still open and offers training (John still owns it.. but he has a cadre that now does the instruction)…

I'm not sure where "first" was, but I can tell you I read that in a Bob Bondurant book about sports car driving some time in the early '80s...

The robber still asks for a soda after getting his ass beat.
I noticed that--did he learn anything after all?

A man in SE Dallas has a sand/gravel business. He came into the building one day to find a young man rifling the place looking for cash. He whipped out a pistol and told him "I'm going to blow your head off unless you do exactly what I tell you! You aren't going to jail--you are going to pull down your pants, assume the position and get an old school whipping' your daddy should have given you."
He wasn't kidding and the young man assumed the position, but only for about 3 licks because he laid into him with a 2x4. At that point he was climbing the walls looking for a way out and ranting about how he was never gonna rob anybody else. If you know Mr. Harwell at all, you knew this actually happened, lol.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
