They only showed up once and left without saying a word. Wife called them 2 days later the guy that answered the phone said they couldn’t fix what wasn't broken without rebuilding the house.

When I make repairs I make sure future repairs aren't needed till after I'm dead.

I dont mind the occasional celebration, but this every play crap is over the top. After a turnover, the whole damn team and half the sideline run to the end zone to find a camera. And perhaps the worst is the guys acting like they won a Super Bowl when they make a play with their team down 4 scores.

Watching modern day football is a sickness.

I remember when I enjoyed watching NFL games. Too much childish crap now. Too slow. I switched to baseball. Men acting like men ... most of the time. Recent changes have sure made it more enjoyable: pitch/batter clock, two step-offs only, replay challenge, and runner starts on second in extra innings. All speed up the game dramatically. Next year the league will have replay challenges for bad pitches. That should all but eliminate drama. "Play ball ... no more playing around."

Its awful tough being a KC fan. Been to 7 straight AFC championships, 5 of last 6 Super Bowls, won 3 titles. Man, it just sucks!

And had to pay off the refs or every one. Guess they didn't pay enough the last three. Let's face it, gambling has corrupted all pro sports. There are definitely refs and players gambling on the outcomes.
May not remember but years ago, the mob was fixing college football and basketball games. If anyone thinks that's not going on now, I've got some nice beachfront property near El Paso for sale, cheap.

I've pretty much given up watching NFL football and pro baseball. I much more enjoy college football; less on and off field "drama".

The downside to college football: there are too many bowl games and the conference changes to keep up with, ie Big 10 is now the Big 18, SEC now includes mid west and southwest teams, the PAC 12 is now the PAC 2 until the '26-'27 season, the ACC now includes Pacific Coast teams, Ivy league still has 8 teams (however I don't remember offhand having seen an Ivy League game). The AAC, around this family of Vets, the only games that matter are: Army-Navy, Army-Air Force, Navy-Air Force. With Air Force being in the Mountain West Conference.
