I remember washing a 1911 with warm soapy water to remove any traces of the corrosive components from the ammo I used. Never again did I use that sh*t! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Well, at least the 1911 contains a mere 87 discreet components you can lovingly disassemble, bake at 150f, submerge in oil, and then commence reassembly. It will be like new and will only take you 4-7 business days start to finish.
