on a lighter note...

The common wisdom on wood heat is it makes you hot five times:
1- when you cut it
2 -when you split it
3 - when you load/carry it in
4 - when you burn it
5 - when you think about doing it again next year

You beat me to it, I was just about to share that tidbit of wisdom too.

Usually the conclusion is that this is why wood heating is the most efficient though [emoji23]

The real advantage of heating with wood is that you are in control.
That's why EU politicians hate firewood, they can't control or tax if.
Industrialy produced pellets are OK, it can be controlled, tracked&traced and taxed.

Their next focus for their hate is growing your own food, the campaign has already started.

And when forest inspector catch you

What sling studs do those swivels fit ? They look to be quite a bit wider than the standard modern swivels. They may be just what I need for my Remington 30 Express wide swivel studs. Can you measure the pin diameter ?
