I concur, you are quite correct, no need to behave yourself like a punching bag, not everyone is a boxer
as pointed out if someone really wants to shoot a heavy caliber he can take the route I suggested ....

..as I have mentioned somewhere else on here and quite a while ago , that on a hunt in the luangwa there was a girl visiting the camp. She was probably bit over 5 foot and not much of her , but she asked about the rifles and she had a go with one of the smaller calibres. Then I asked if she wanted a go with my lott which only weighs 9lbs as she had shot well...she said yes...so explained it was going to boot her a lot more than the one she had fired....she took her shot and didn't drop it..fall over or anything else...in fact she looked round and said that was OK can I have another go....we looked at her in sort of amazement and said go ahead....contrary to what has been said about big people absorbing the recoil so can handle it better, to me it seemed as she was small and offered less resistance she rolled with it, and didn't seem to be as affected as someone bigger who is not moving as much and so taking more punishment....but
