Mannlicher, how far away was the bwb and did the 300 grain TSX hit any significant bone?

Thanks

This is interesting. I have noted on occasion how I've seen pictures like this of recovered TSX bullets that failed to open properly. But it's always been in small to medium bores, never in bores .375 and larger. This is the first I've seen this in a .375.

Sorry, but I don´t know details. It was a handload from a Southafrican, shooter was a PH. I´ll meet him end of February, so I can ask him for details.

Left to right 3 times 235 gr. Barnes X, 270 gr. rem corelocked, 250 gr. trophy bonded soft.

All except the last taken out of Oryx shot between 100 and 280 metres, last taken out of blue wildebeest...the old corelocked bullet performed very good actually, better than the trophy bonded..

Impressive. The 235 TSXs make me wonder if maybe the 250 Grain Tipped TSX might not be a very viable all around .375 bullet?

My PH that I have been talking about hunting cape buffalo with says he would have no problem with me using the 250ttsx.
