Hello Everyone,
My name is Brent and I'm from Pennsylvania. I've been reading the forums for a long time and just now became a member. I've read some of the best and most interesting threads here and have gained much knowledge from these reads. My first South Africa plains game hunt is all booked and I'm counting down the days. This is an absolutely fantastic site. I'm glad I finally joined!

:S Welcome:

Welcome Brent. Good luck on your upcoming hunt. Pictures are much encouraged and appreciated.

Fantastic and welcome aboard. We look forward to your hunt report! What are your hunt plans and goals?

Welcome Aboard.
Happy Hunting.
Where and who are you hunting with in South Africa?

Welcome to AH! Good luck on your hunt.

I was with INFINTO SAFARIS in Limpopo 11-18 May we were supposed to be hunting night critters but the late rains and full moon put a damper on hunting night critters. Everything was still green and the brush was thick. After 4 nights and only getting 3 porcupines, 2 duikers, (1 of each going to the farm rep for meat), and 1 last minute decision to hunt bushbuck, I pulled the plug on night critters and went daytime hunting for PG.

Hopefully your hunts should be better with less green bush so you can see/find your animals in the thick stuff.

Even in May the weather was cool enough to wear a heavy coat, bakalav, and gloves, riding on the back of the bakki during a couple of night hunts.

Hello and welcome!

Welcome aboard from SC!!!
Never hunted with Cruiser but have always heard great things about them.
Have a great trip! We'll all be looking forward to your report!

Welcome aboard crossfire3006. My two sons and I hunted with Cruisers back in 2016. If they still have the same cook (Tiny) you are in for a treat. That woman CAN COOK!! Peter is a "practical joker" be prepared.

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
