Welcome to the forum Justin! Enjoy planning your first Africa hunt (it won’t be your last!)

Hi Justin, welcome to AH !

Welcome to AH!

Welcome to AH!

Welcome, don't be surprised if something pops up here that gets you to Africa sooner than 2021.

I live in Orangeburg. The addiction is bad! I’ve flown from columbia twice and Raleigh once ( took my family and the savings from Raleigh were significant). Enjoy the planning. Shoot a lot before you go!

slam,
Justin and I both are from Branchville. Small world.

Justin, you have definitely found a home here. Everything you need to know and more is on this site. In my limited experience you will definitely see more animals in South Africa than you can afford unless you have very deep pockets. Enjoy your time here, it is extremely addictive!!!

Welcome to the addiction! Have fun in your planning stage. And please don't be afraid to ask questions, lots of very knowledgeable folks here willing to help.

Already tempted, just going with enough funds just in case a lot of animals want to show themselves.
I ve never stayed in "budget" on any of my African hunts.(n). But there are worse things in life I guess;)

Welcome aboard Justin. By the time you are ready to go, AH will have you chomping at the bit so to speak. There is no other site that can prepare you for an African hunt the way we will.

Welcome to AH justin! Enjoy the site.

Welcome Justin! Nothing like AH for information and getting people on their way to Africa.

Welcome Justin. This forum has a wealth of information from some extremely knowledgeable folks, enjoy!

Planning my first Africa hunt for 2021 I guess it is never too early to research. The last few years I have been really interested in Africa and I am certain I will go more than once. Fine site as I have been hooked on it for 2 weeks now.
Welcome to the forum Justin. Have you considered Namibia? We will gladly assist in arranging your first African Safari

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
