Greetings. I have recently bought a single shot rifle and combination gun but with old world German pedigrees. I can feed the falling block in 7x57R, but there are only a couple different loads commercially available in the US. The Combination gun is more difficult to locate the rifle rounds. It’s a 16gauge over 6,5x68 (6,5 Schuler). Truth be told, it not likely that I’ll put many rounds out of either piece, but I still like to find a few boxes of cartridges. I would be grateful for any advice or help on locating the 6,5x68 in my part of the world.

Welcome Alan. That Ammo seems to be tough to find.
You may try contacting Reeds Ammo. I have personally not dealt with them but other AH members have with good feedback. They list several options but Out of Stock now.
Maybe they could run some for you?

Welcome @AlanBigStick to AH................RWS still lists both the 8x68 and 6.5x68 on their website. Since both have the same case head you could make one from the other. 8x68 is still quite popular and a little easier to find. I would probably neck ream the cases if I were to squeeze the 8mm's down to 6.5. Best of luck with this.............FWB
