I picked up a double off of Gunbroker the other day.

It's a Spanish made double conversion with the inserts from 12 gauge to 45-70.

I know the Baikals are running around the $1500 range if you can find one, so I figured I might as well take a chance on it.

From the pictures, it looks to be well done. It may not be regulated worth a flying crap, but we will see.

Has a 1-4 Bushnell scope mounted atop.

Anybody ever had any experience with one of these Frankensteins?

Finally got it picked up and it is a chunk, but locks up and functions very well.

Im excited to put some rounds through it to see how accurate it is.

If all works out, I will be headed to the Dark Continent with it to hunt a Buff with her once my boys get old enough to enjoy the experience of a Safari.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
