I’m looking for suggestions on having my croc skin tanned a natural croc green color for boots and other wearables. Thank you in advance for all help.

I have had several alligator skins done by American Tanning Company in Griffin, GA. They have always done a great job. I’m sure they could do a croc skin as well.

from Wyfox's suggestion

That isn't unreasonable. Ive seen far higher prices then that.

I would also be glad to help you. We just got back an 11'9 alligator that we had tanned for a client. I will post pictures in the near future I just haven't had time yet.

Nice idea. I would like to see some croc come out with its natural colour.

I just bought a piece of Croc hornback for display that is brown. It was $125 posted with a permit listed on used guns. Probably the closest I will get to having a crocodile hide. Everything native here is protected.

Unfortunately crocs and gators that get tanned for leather goods in the white, don’t retain their natural/living colors and are ready for a coloured dye.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
