Has anyone taken their rifles to Customs and Border Patrol in Nashville recently? I went there last week and was unable to get in touch with anyone. The office is no longer outside of the airport, but is in a restricted area without general access. I called with no success. Looking for feedback on how to get this taken care of. Last time I flew internationally with firearms, I was in the Indianapolis area. The office was outside the airport and it was a quick and easy process. Help!

They list an office on Brick Church PK and Trousdale. I don’t know if either of these can complete your 4457 form. I’m following this because I need to know for next year.

I’ll give them a call. Thanks!

Send them an email and set up an appointment. Send pics of your rifles serial numbers along with pics of the serial number on your optics

You’ve gotten the proper advice, which is to call and make an appointment. I live in Sacramento and that is what we have to do. I usually have to leave a voicemail and they call me back to set the appointment.

To save time I fill out the forms ahead of time, print them out and show up with my guns and 4457’s in hand. All the Customs Officer has to do is verify the information, sign it and stamp it. It only takes a few minutes that way, even though it takes longer with our local guy I usually get as he wants to see pictures from my last trip and hear about my next one.

I couldn’t ever get them to answer the phone. I called 100 times. I’d just email them. It definitely a good idea to have the firm already printed and filled out. I’d scan and email them a copy too with pics of your serial numbers and the rifles.

I learned all of this the hard way after sitting at the BNA lobby for waiting for about 3 hours until I finally caught a border patrol agent strolling thru the lobby. Thankfully he helped me thru the process, but he told me next time to email to set up an appointment and to have forms filled out with pics of guns, scopes, and serial numbers

They are located in the terminal now.
Call (615)-275-4070
Email NASHVILLEATU@cbp.dhs.gov

Contact them before heading to the airport. I would go ahead and electronically send in the 4457s with Make, model, serial numbers + make model serials of scopes.

Also take pictures of the serial numbers close up of guns as well as an overall picture and have all that ready to go for them.

Each gun needs its own form.

I did this roughly a month ago and was seamless, but definitely email/ call ahead of time.

Every office is different. In Miami, FL, I had to take my rifle to their office at the airport. No appointment, no one answer the phone, nothing. Here in GA, I have to take my rifle to their office in Atlanta, outside the airport. No appointment necessary, however, they do not want you to walk in their office with a rifle. The last two times, I drove my truck to their parking lot, and they walked out to inspect the rifles. Signed my forms, and done.

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
