Namibia plans to butcher 723 wild animals including zebras, hippos, impalas, and even 83 elephants, for meat!

Namibia plans to cull 723 wild animals, including 83 elephants, due to severe drought. Nearly half of its population faces a hunger crisis. The culling aims to provide food and reduce human-wildlife conflicts. The UN highlights that 84% of Namibia's food resources are already exhausted.
