We are still in Namibia, but I will do a more complete write-up when we get home. Long story short, we got our bull on day 1 in camp. We probably saw roughly 200 elephants that had come out of Botswana into Namibia. Big herds of buffaloes, zebra, and Wildebeest as well. The hunt, hospitality, and accommodations have all been great. Since we got done so early, we came up to a lodge on the Zambezi and are heading back to Windhoek today. We got the chance to visit Victoria Falls and do a little tiger fishing while up here in the Caprivi region as well.

I can't believe I forgot to mention all the animals very close or in camp. We had elephant making noise all night right outside camp. One so close we could hear it feeding. Hyena calling in the night and coming through camp, and buffalo within 50 yards of the tent. It was quite an experience, and my wife was truly amazed by it all.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
