NAMIBIA: Otjandaue Hunting Safaris Hunting Report

Have hunted Namibia three times - from the Caprivi to the Erongo Mountains to Derk de Bod's place near Windhoek. It is definitely worth more than five days. Lovely Dik-Dik. Hope you go back.
You are Right, 5 days isn't long enough and I really didn't want to leave. So no doubt the next trip will be longer.

Congrats on the dik dik, it's a beautiful trophy! I usually blast a black-backed jackal with a soft point bullet, yours will be nice as a rug or full mount.
a matter of fact I did have a rug made of the Jackal mounted mouth open, when I finally did make it back home the coyotes were wreaking havoc with my sheep so I got out the FoxPro and called in a big mail. Having him done the same way for comparison.

Great report! Thanks for sharing.

e did exactly what he had been trained to do he ran up and grabbed the Dik Dik pinning it to the ground no biting no shaking no chewing just held it so it couldn’t get away until I got

It's always cool to see a working dog do what it's trained to do!

Congrats Bob, seems like you enjoyed your hunt, and want to come back !

Thanks for sharing.

I need to know if this is legit. Photo with today's paper would do it.
