Congratulations to you both! Great shooting Jasper, way to go!
Great news today. A Kudu that got away from us was found by our PH! Long story but Jasper had to take a difficult neck shot and the bull moved just as he shot. A LONG followup ensued to no avail. At least we have the skull and horns of this great trophy coming home now!
It is nice to hunt with such good people who look after you even after you are gone. They didn’t have to spend any effort on our behalf but worked hard after we were gone to get us our trophy.
Man those are some awesome trophies! You must have some photography experience those are fantastic pictures!
And getting to share it all with you'r son, priceless! Congratulations
What a great adventure! Congratulations on some fine trophies as well.
I'm planning to do a similar trip in 2022. It was originally going to be a 40th bday gift to myself, but my now 7 yr old son is starting to squeeze his way into the plans!
man-- yall need t get rid of those west Texas tans -- so white legs in those pics!! BTW no denying that boys- he is yours he look a heck of a lot like you and by the grace... prob like your wife,, congrats and sharing a memory with your progeny. It was a pleasure to meet you and break bread-- I see now you are truly a lucky man to have a son who will hang with Dad and loves his passion-- a lot of what you said when we met comes full circle in that you want others to experience the Africa as you know it and lets face it.. Bo one more important than your boy! What a trip! -- thank PG

Awesome hunt Phillip. And some great trophies. Your son must have been ecstatic.
What a fantastic adventure! Your son will remember that trip for many years. A wonderful gift to him for certain.
My now 13 year old son talks regularly of our Namibia trip last summer. He really matured a lot on that trip.
What are you going to do with the giraffe skin?
Is your son shooting an R8 professional?
Thanks for the fine report Philip. I’m glad you were able to take your son.
