Welcome aboard eremicus. I spent about three years working in Mexico. I loved it. However the last time I was there was in 2007. I will have to agree with whoever it was that called Mexico the "Land of Beautiful Women." I declined several invitations to hunt while there, that was probably a mistake. I did enjoy shooting Metallic Silhouette with both pistol and rifle.
