I am listing this rifle for my hunting partner and close friend. I personally vouch for him, and I have actually fired this rifle.

CZ 550 Magnum, .375 H&H, mild custom work done by Jojo’s Gunworks, Southington, CT, factory barrel cut and recrowned to 22”, laminated stock with recoil reducer, Alaska Arts QD 30mm rings. LOP 14.25”. Weight 12 lbs. Very accurate with 300 grain TSX, and, obviously, low recoil. Slight finish wear on barrel (see pics). Rifle has been on one safari; took a buffalo and 6 PG animals. $1600 includes shipping to your FFL. He can take credit cards or Venmo.

Great looking rifle! If I didn't have taxidermy to pay for next month I would be all over it!

He thought the factory configuration was a bit nose heavy. Certainly the rifle balanced better with the shorter tube. I’ve long believed 22” is the sweet spot for a hunting rifle and we agreed that, following buffalo through the Limpopo bush, it was a handier package. He used Barnes 300 gr TSX, had 6 one shot kills on PG, and shot his buffalo twice, but the second shot turned out to be unnecessary. So the terminal ballistics were just fine.

CZ

CZ called the pictured stock Spring Camo Laminate. CZ had two other colors of laminate stock available on the American Safari Magnums, Sunset Camo and Brown.

Very good deal on a nice rifle. I haven't seen one with that color laminate in in quite a while.

That is my least favorite "standard" laminate stock color, but if this was a lefty, I'd have bought it!

Do you know why the owner had the barrel shortened?
Not unusual.
Very common procedure as a part of customizing CZ and ZKK rifles in magnum action.
Having said that mine I keep at original length (25 inch, ZKK).

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
