Leopard Hunt With Dogs Incredible 2 On 1 Deal

They after a pink leopard......

Signal extremely weak .

Football season ended for us last night. Reading this has been a great way to get back into the real world. (y)(y)(y)

Well I made it home but Simon has not yet... Of course he has trophies to deliver and that long treacherous drive to get the bakkies home. My own journey back was not without challenges... More on that later but 58 hours travel time home if I did the math correctly with the time changes. Six flights and two drives, lots of airline grief, sweat and trying to sleep on planes;)

Ended with one cat but measure the dried skin nose to tail at just over 2.6 meters or 8.5 feet. I am very pleased! That plus the eland, the one baboon I'm bringing home out of many who gave the ultimate sacrifice to try and draw in another leopard, and the duikers. But the real trophy is the memories of a great adventure with great people and friends.

The final night we went out after supper for one last check for another leopard... Got about 4 hours sleep and got up to do more packing, went with Simon up Signal hill to glass for Sable one more time, nada. Then a shower, final packing while the guys loaded trophies and luggage. And we were down the road to Cuamba where my charter on the Cesna 206 was waiting.. more later but this charter flight went smooth as silk. By the time I got home it had been hours since I had last seen a bed.. So a bit exhausted and still suffering some jet lag but all is well on my end.. .I am a bit concerned for Simon and his Appy, Courtney. Hopefully they arrive home soon and do so safely.

Thanks for update Bob. Get some rest!

AB marvelous adventure. Sleep fast and get some rest so you can start telling this tale. Glad you are home.(y)(y)(y)

Just got a whatsapp message, broken pinion in the middle of the war zone.... Granted it is not really a hot war. But still.... although Simon would not allow clients to travel that, I actually wish i was there to help him. He's not the best mechanic;)

At least he has shade, cooler box, and his slops....

Seriously, please pray for Simon and Courtney to get home safe!

Sounds like you had one hell of a good hunt. The travel home seems like it was just as much fun. Looking forward to hearing all about the trip soon.

I hope simon and crew have a safe trip back and don't have anymore problems getting back.

No bullets flying, Simon and Co. will be fine.

Glad you made it back safe. Get your sleep in order and then the tale must begin!!!

Glad your back, hoping the same for Simon. Looking forward to the report!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
