Leaving May 20th for the Eastern Cape

I will be leaving for the Eastern Cape on May 20th out of Atlanta on Delta 200. I will be hunting again with @LJ SAFARIS who is a sponsor here. I hunted with them in 2024 and had a great time. My goal is a Cape kudu and a springbuck slam.

Anyone else flying out of Atlanta on the 20th?

If so, let's meet up before the flight.

I leave in 48 hours and I’m getting anxious. I don’t think I have forgotten anything. The rifle and my ammo are all packed. My hunting clothes are picked, sprayed with anti-tick permethrin, and ready to be packed. I just have to decide what goes in my carryon pack and what goes into the checked bag.

At the end of the day if you have your medications, passport and a charge card/cash, you can sort it out once you're there should you forget something! Nothing more exciting than being able to go chase your dreams!! Enjoy, looking forward to your hunt report!

Enjoy the trip we have been having some bad weather last few weeks especially down the coasts and in Cape Town area so don't be surprized if its cold and wet to start off with.

My last trip to the Eastern Cape in 2024 we had rain and snow in the Karoo. That was at the beginning of June.

@jpr9954 Pleasant travels and good hunting! We are flying out May 22 to the Eastern Cape by way of Botswana. After 5 days tracking eland and looking for big kudu at Bokamoso, we'll have 10 days in the Eastern Cape - 5 in the coastal area and 5 in the Karoo. Get that big Eastern Cape kudu and that slam!
