A new kind of rust blue finish.

Probably shoots MOA.....

Reckon it'll still go full auto?

Ready for the scrap yard looks like! Look at the pitting! And I bet they still fire.

Manufactured in the mountain caves of Afghanistan

As sad as it is, someone probably held this thing (and ready to use it) with their life on the line. I'm only basing this statement because they took the time to put new furniture on it.

Is that the new ergo pistol grip? great camo finish

Wow. I know AK's are reliable but I'd be a bit nervous to pull the trigger on that one. Yikes!

poor quality control if you ask me

More than likely shoots Minute of Elephant...

That's good.... I always called $hitty groups MOM.... Minute Of a Melon.

Now, now. We can't make a judgment call based on the appearance of his rifle. Let them post some pictures of the groups it produces.

Like to know how many grains of powder and whether he uses tsx or norma or just a piece of rebar..... maybe hornady dgs?

The AK, only thing that has killed more than a Toyota in Africa.

If that thing was in use prior to the picture, which i think it was based on the wood and the sling, its a testament to the manufacturing.

I wouldn't like to be too close to it on full auto though... :A Blowup:

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
