I’m thinking about doing an Argentina bird shoot, and they seem to vary from three to five days. I’ve heard it was pretty intense and was wondering how many days was “just right”. How many days did you shoot, and when were you ready to head home?

Your shoulder is going to determine that one, me thinks.

It is a long way for a short slide. Do five and take a day off as needed. Most offer a choice between an OU and semi. Use the semi 20 if available.

Both trips I’ve done to Argentina for bird hunts were just 3 days…

We then spent a couple of days in Buenos Aires playing tourist..

Including a travel day down and a travel day back home, they were 1 week total trips…

For me 3 days is enough… it’s certainly high volume… but after a few days it becomes a bit repetitive for me…

On our first trip we did a combo cast and blast… fishing for golden dorado half of each day and dove hunting the other half… I could have done that for a few more days easily… the fishing added to the variety and excitement…

This is the way to do it.

Hello!
Hope this message finds you well.
Normally people hunt for 3 or 4 days, not more than that. Either way it is a long trip to spend just 3 days in Argentina so people normally combine it with tourism, fishing or another activity.
Please let me know if you need any help arranging your trip or have any doubt.

Best Regards,

Manuel Gil.

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
