South Africa, Namibia
Hey everyone, my name is Judy and my husband, Clent and I live in the Houston area. We are also blessed to have a hunting ranch in the Hill Country of Texas (which is where are hearts are).
When we took our first trip to South Africa we both fell in love with the country and the people there. Folks in SA are as close to Texans as you will ever get! (that's a good thing) We've hunted SA twice and have a trip planned to Namibia this July. I can't wait!
You all are going to find out real quick that I like to tell stories and post photos! I'm looking forward to joining in on the forums and getting to know new people.

Hi Judy,
Welcome to the forum! We look forward to your hunting report. Please post lots of pics.

Best Regards
Marius Goosen

Judy and Clent welcome! I agree with you about the South Africans--very welcoming/ other than they had a funny accent! ;)

I live in the hill country--your right its a nice place to be/ the only better place I'd rather be is on our ranch in West Texas-- to much wind and very dry but its home!

Hey Ed, Where in the hill country are you? Our ranch is just outside of Rocksprings.

Yo, Ed...you should hear YOUR accent through MY ears..!:D ;)

I live outside San Antonio-- between Boerne and Bulverde. Its a nice area, but San Antonio and Austin are growing too fast.

Docman, I know what you mean! ;)

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
