Long time lurker but thought it was about time I joined properly!
I’m based in the UK, where I used to work in the London gun trade, dealing with the likes of Purdey, Watson Bros and so forth as well as the more obvious stuff like Sako, Merkel and Blaser.
Hunting wise, I have hunted across Europe, whether for moose in Sweden, driven boar in Austria or all six species of deer in the UK. I’ve also hunted in 3 states of the USA (Texas, Alabama and Maine) as well as my first hunting trip last year to Africa (Namibia).
I’ll do a brief write up of that to get started.
If any member ever wants any help coming to the UK, I’m more than happy to put people in touch with some of my contacts, many of whom I have hunted with for many years so can fully vouch for them!
