Well, I tried to place an order and finally got Gerard on the phone. They are not replacing older machinery and have just about sold out existing stock of bullets. If you are a fan of these, better act quick. There are NO 375 dia. left and only 2 boxes of 284/7mm left at 130 gr. for example. Sorry to see them go!

GS Custom bullets were a turned bullet, made the more famous for their drive bands vs grooves. Bands generate very little pressure upon engraving, allowing velocities to be safely boosted significantly. Very accurate as well. To know/use them is to love them. Great expansion at low velocity compared to other monometal bullets. They were made in South Africa.

I became a fan after using them in @KMG Hunting Safaris (Marius') hunting rifles. After having some troubles in obtaining my last order, I happened across Hammer bullets here in the US. In fact, I was able to quickly load a few before my last trip to Africa. I took a black springbok with a .260 Remington and my wife shot a Nyala with the 35 Whelen using Hammer bullets. While I am quite saddened to see GS Custom go, at least there is a decent alternative.

Cutting Edge Bullets have driving bands and are available based on production schedules.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx
