Got my Zebra rug back from a hunt this past Spring in Namibia. Erongo Taxidermy did a fantastic job and gave great customer service! Same with African Shipping Services out of Windhoek, very responsive and friendly. I'm very excited about this and trying to debate whether I want to hang it on the wall or not. I would definitely use them again and hopefully will!

It is a rug. Use it on the floor in a lightly traveled area, Looks great!

Is the bottom liner felt material? Can you tell if it is glued or sewed on ?

I have the same, of hartmann zebra stallion, but my wife was sorry to keep it on the floor, and told me to hang it on the wall. So, I did. I keep it on the wall on living room.

Very nice! I like the unique colors too.

Yea, on the hunt I was actually about to take a bigger male, but then this Mare stepped out and she had a much prettier color. When I shot her we realized she had an injury to her rear right leg, and probably wouldve been Leopard food in the next day or 2.

I don't think you really have a problem, wall or rug on floor. You had a safari so the disease should be imbedded. On your return you can shoot a Hartman's and then you will have one for wall and one for floor.

Looks like a good job on rug. Congrats.

I just recently brought home my zebra skin from Africa as well, and I've been pondering the same question. I haven't reached a decision yet. Yours has a uniquely high amount of shadow stripes. It seems like usually, they are more predominant on the back half of the animal and less so on the front half. It's unusual to see them go all the way up the body to the front legs.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
