Getting ready for retirement and selling my gun collection

This is a custom built 577 nitro Express rifle built on a rubber number one frame with a muzzle brake which takes about 40% of the recoil off of this rifle. It comes with 5 packs of ammo which is about $1000 worth I’m asking $8000 for this gun

I need to stop looking at this! Congratulations on your retirement!

This double rifle is a 470 nitro Express chapuis elan super nice heavenly engraved. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a.chapuis it’s nice. It’s a used rifle. The boards are clean and strong. Has three flip up sides on it has the night site would like to get 15 for this. It also comes with ammo five boxes.

Damn Buck. You sure you have thought this through? I am absolutely hanging onto mine during retirement. My lovely spouse knows which auction company to call and which appraiser to give her a good value basis. Not sure what I would do if I couldn't continue to commune with them over a single malt and oily rag from time to time.

Or just make sure whoever they go to is close enough from time to time to come over with them and the wiskey.

Good afternoon as I promised last night, I tried to sit down today and take more pictures and get more information on the guns that I have for sale. I will attach a list of the guns that I have currently for sale and the prices feel free to reach out to me. I will be happy to give you my personal number and we can discuss the pricing and the options if you like.

I feel the same way Red Leg (and suspect many here do). Some of my rifles will hopefully be my evening companions till the end.

I have to ask though, when you have your favorite single malt and worn, oily rag on a cold, quiet evening, do you reach for your R8 or S2?

Congratulations on retiring !

Its a shame your going to sell your guns.

I retired in 2008 at 51 then did outfitting until 2021 when I had a stroke. Did like you gathered my guns and sold most of them. Then after a year of recovery decided I'am lucky to be alive and doing very good at my age. So started again adding guns to fill the empty spaces in the racks. I'll let my estate figure out what to do with them and what there going to get. In the mean time while I still taking in oxygen I'll enjoy them.
I hope you find and enjoy the rest of your life.

Congratulations on the retirement.

I’m getting real close myself and already consigned the guns i didn’t want to move and kept very few.

Now I’m onto a shop full of tools and toys.

It’s just stuff, maybe you get the itch you buy something in the future.

I had to liquidate my dads 70+ years of equipment and inventory and it gave me (and my brother) great motivation not to leave a pile for someone else to deal with.

glws!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
