Geseënde Kersfees aan Afrika Jag en veral aan my Afrikaanse vriende! Ek sien uit daarna om julle almal gou.

Dankie! Well done Sir! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Nothing a little Google work can't come up with. I am getting to a point where I can basically figure out what is being said when I read a sentence in Afrikaans. But when it's spoken to me, as my father-in-law used to say, I look like a cow staring at a new gate.

Dankie Phillip. Geseende Kersfees vir jou en al jou mense.
Mag julle geseend wees in die nuwe jaar.

Dankie Phil hoop jy het n wonderlike dag met die familie spandeer!

Alles van die beeste en groente by die huis! ;)

Okay, so I pretty much figured out the first sentence, and yes it's been a good day with the family. The second sentence threw me a bit. I got "Alles van die" and "die huis" but that middle part threw me off. So I looked it up, "cattle and vegetables" is what I found on Google. I think I'm missing something here Jaco......

But hope you had a great Christmas day with the family too!

No it's perfect in Afrikaans we say
Alles van die beste, en groete by die huis.....

All of the best and greetings at your home.

I have given it a bit of a tweak as the words are so close together... :) wahahawahaha

Got it

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
