G9 Ammo, anyone use it or hear of it?

I’ve never used it… but I’ve got a buddy that swears by their pistol ammo… I’ve thought about buying some of the [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]]]mm and testing it in some different mediums/materials to see what it will do..

Looks like good stuff, just pricey compared to some of the other well known brands

I'm am pretty close to the people at G9 and have had the opportunity to hunt in S Africa and with the 375 offerings when it was in final prototype phase. The soft point style performed really well on Kudu, Eland, Sable and others. Great expansion and effect on target.
But the star of the show is their solid. It was devastating on buffalo. It's practically a new category of bullet. Nasty wounding, but typical solid penetration. One guy in our group put a really high shot on a buff and it was immediately dropped, we assumed it was spined by the way it went down, but it went through and through just under the shoulder blade.
I shot an elk with the 375 H&H shape charge solid this year and I'm hooked. It dropped him in his tracks and there was an unbelievable amount of blood in the chest cavity but zero meat damage whatsoever.

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
