Namibia , I love this country. I was born in Windhoek, but sadly my parents moved to RSA when I was 6 years old, but man can I still remember my childhood years in this stunning place. I still go as much as I can to see my home country and when I see a video like this I just want to grab my passport and go.
Who ever shares my love for this amazing country, please share your most favourite photos and pics that put a lump in your throat and a skip too your heart .

I haven’t been, but what started my interest in a safari was attending a luncheon discussion with a government delegation from Namibia a few years ago. I had a great chat with the officials at my table, and they did a fine job of advertising Namibia’s attributes.

My first African safari was in Namibia (but it was still Southwest Africa in 1987). I hunted on two different properties, one north of Windhoek and one south of Windhoek. Wonderful people and a great experience for my first African hunt. The area where I hunted looked a lot like parts of Texas near Junction and Sonora--low rocky hills and lots of scrub brush and lots of game: Kudu, gemsbok, western red hartebeest and Hartman's mountain Zebra, all of which I collected on my hunt.
I like that Namibia is really promoting hunting today and it's definitely on my list for another hunt in the future.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
